Sticky Fingers restaurants donating 15% of sales on August 17th

August 12, 2009  |  CHATTANOOGA, T.N. –  Cancer effects every age, even a 7-year-old. Sticky Fingers, a local ribhouse, is donating a portion of sales on Monday, August 17th to support Madison Hight, a Chattanooga 7-year-old girl with cancer.

Madison was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma -- a very aggressive solid tumor childhood cancer with a survival rate of 30 percent -- at the age of 3. Madison recently enrolled in a trial study in Birmingham, Ala., in hopes of finding a drug to completely rid her body of any cancer cells.

Madison’s parents, Elizabeth and Chris Hight, grew up in Chattanooga and have close ties to several members of the local Sticky Fingers management team.

Stop by any of the two Chattanooga locations between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Aug. 17 and Sticky Fingers will donate 15 percent of all sales. Proceeds will be used to pay for Madison’s medical treatments in Birmingham and current medical expenses.

The restaurants are located at 2031 Hamilton Place Blvd. (at Hamilton Place Mall) and 420 Broad Street at Jack’s Alley. For more information, guests can call (423) 899-RIBS (7427).
