Founded by three lifelong friends, Sticky Fingers opened in Mt. Pleasant, SC in 1992. Armed with little money and even less experience, the three partners set about doing what they knew best: treating guests the way they wanted to be treated. What they lacked in accounting, management, and hiring skills, they made up for in their genuine and caring approach to customer service and a passion for sharing “fall-off-the-bone delicious” ribs, pulled pork barbecue and chicken.  

 

Since that time, we have established a reputation for serving award winning barbecue in the Southeast - home of the best barbecue in America! The sweet smell of hickory wood that welcomes you upon arrival is a sure sign that all of our smoked meats are still slow cooked on-site in our barbecue pits. It is that same commitment to tradition and authenticity that makes our restaurants and signature barbecue sauces so popular.

 

We currently have 16 locations in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida specializing in high quality barbecue and comfort food. Our five barbecue sauces – Memphis Original, Carolina Classic, Tennessee Whiskey, Carolina Sweet and Habañero Hot – are served daily in our restaurants. Demand from Sticky Fingers fans led to the development of our retail line of barbecue sauces, which are now distributed in over 5,000 grocery stores and specialty shops across the country. We also sell our sauces, dry rub seasoning, barbecue-themed gift packages and merchandise through our website for shipment nationwide.
