April 30, 2008 | CHARLESTON, SC, April 30, 2008 - Sticky Fingers brings one of Myrtle Beach’s favorite barbecue spots to the Northside with its second area rib house opening April 30. Located less than two blocks from the Harley-Davidson Shop at the Beach, the restaurant will fire up its pits just before Bike Week rolls into town.Sticky Fingers - which specializes in Memphis-style, hickory-smoked ribs, pulled pork barbecue and chicken – plans to offer To Go ‘cue in outside tents that week plus custom t-shirts and drink specials. Among dozens of celebrity diners: Jessica Simpson, Al Roker, Jim Furyk, President Bush, Tyler Florence and Gene Hackman. “Our Myrtle Beach opening was bigger than we ever expected, but Bike Week is another ballgame,” said Jeff Goldstein, one of three Sticky Fingers founders. “We have no idea what to expect so we’ll just have to keep the pits going 24/7.”The new rib house represents a $1.65 million investment and 118 new jobs. Sticky Fingers got its start just down the coast when three boyhood friends opened the original rib house in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. in 1992. Sticky Fingers opened its first Grand Strand location at then-new Coastal Grand mall in 2004.Starting April 30, Sticky Fingers opens at 11 am every day.
