Sticky Fingers Head Pitmaster, Clint Cantwell

Sticky Fingers Ribhouse has welcomed a smoking new Head Pitmaster, Clint Cantwell. Cantwell began consulting with Sticky Fingers Ribhouse near the end of 2019. Officially our head pitmaster as of February, 2020, his style will be seen throughout new techniques, recipes, and ideas that he is incorporating into the restaurant’s kitchens.

With a passion for all things barbecue, he is Director of Smoke and Flame for , Senior Vice President of, winner of the Travel Channel’s “American Grilled” competition program, and now Head Pitmaster for Sticky Fingers’ eleven restaurants plus their catering division.

Described as the “backyard griller on steroids” and the “mad scientist of grilling,” Cantwell has served as a recipe developer and brand ambassador for high profile companies such as Kingsford charcoal, Smithfield, and Certified Angus Beef. Named one of the “10 Faces of Memphis Barbecue,” his passion for barbecue and grilling leads him throughout the country in search of the people, places and tastes that define our shared grilling culture.
